Getting Updates Online

ABCSpell can search periodically for application updates on the internet and download them to your computer.

NOTE: You must be connected to the internet to use this feature.

To check for online updates:

1.

Double-click on the ABCSpell icon on your desktop to open the ABCSpell utilities window.

Click on the Online Updates tab.

3.

Click the Begin Update Check button.

4.

Click the Download Updates button.

5.

ABCSpell goes to the Internet and searches for new updates.

a.

If no new updates are available, ABCSpell displays a message that your copy of the software is up to date.

When a new update is available, ABCSpell downloads and installs it.

c.

If there are several updates available (for example, new versions of your installed dictionaries), ABCSpell displays a list of results so you can choose which updates you want to install. Check the Add button next to the updates you want, then click on the Install button.
