AccuSpell lets you set up your preferences for how your text is checked.

1.In the lower right corner of your screen, double-click the AccuSpell icon red_checkmark2 in the Windows systems tray.
2.The AccuSpell Options Window opens.
3.Click the Spelling tab.
4.The following options display:

Words in all UPPERCASE When this box is checked, words in all uppercase will not be spell checked (for example: IBM, AFLAC)

Words containing numbersWhen this box is checked, words that contain a number will not be spell checked (for example: 3Com, 101a)

Words with mixed caseWhen this box is checked, words that contain both upper and lower case letters will be checked for spelling only, and not checked for proper use of upper and lower  case (for example: deVille, eBay)

Internet addresses, file names,
and e-mail addressesCheck this box to have AccuSpell skip spell checking for words that begin with www or http (for example: www.spellchecker.com) Also when  this box is checked, words that consist of a group of characters,  a period, and three additional  characters are assumed to be file names, and AccuSpell does not  check their spelling (for example: config.sys, autoexec.bat, readme.txt)

Recheck typed replacementsWhen this box is checked, AccuSpell will spell check any text you type as a replacement for a misspelled word.

Repeated wordsCheck this box to have AccuSpell report any repeated words as possible
errors (for example, the double "is is" in "this is is a test.")

Un-capitalized sentencesWhen this box is checked, AccuSpell will check the first word of every sentence to ensure that it is capitalized, and if it is not, will report it as an error.

Split hyphenated wordsWhen this box is checked, AccuSpell separately spell checks each segment of a hyphenated word (for example: slow-moving will be checked as slow and moving).

Split compound wordsWords like desktop, goto, handheld are not standard because they are made up of two words. If this box is checked, AccuSpell separately checks each portion of the word, and the compound of the two words is considered correct.
